Cape Town Interfaith Initiative (CTII) Chairperson Berry Behr embarked on a path of spiritual discovery about 20 years ago. Her journey has included the exploration of various modalities including meditation, healing, neuro linguistic programming and massage therapy.

She co-founded and ran Milnerton Light Centre from 2011 – 2016, a haven for seekers of spiritual guidance from all backgrounds. The thread of uniting diverse people through common purpose runs through her work with United Religions Initiative and the Global White Lion Protection Trust. She maintains close ties with both organisations.

Berry has been CTII Chairperson since June 2018. In April 2019 she travelled to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with colleague James Ellman of Faith Hope Love Communities in Elsie's River, to receive the HM King Abdullah II Prize for their event, Love of Neighbour - our Prayers for our City, observed during the 2019 United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week.

Berry will be ordained this June as an Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister through One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York.
